Why does your furniture cost so much less than your shop?
By purchasing over the Internet, you are effectively paying trade prices, unburdened by expensive shop rents, rates and wages. However, you are still more than welcome to come and view a selection of our sofas that we have in our showroom.

Our Retail Price is the price we charge for goods purchased in one of our shops over the counter.

Our Web & Sale Prices are the prices we charge for orders taken via the website or telephone.

Isn't it risky to buy such a large priced item via Mail Order?
No not at all. You can order with confidence, in the knowledge that you have 14 days within which to claim a full refund (minus 20%) on our standard products if for any reason you're not absolutely delighted with your purchase.

Do you offer finance?
Yes we do - we take a 25% deposit and then its 12 months interest free credit

Can I see the furniture before purchase?
We have showrooms in South London (Fulham), South East London (Greenwich), Birmingham and Manchester, where you are more than welcome to come and see a selection of our products on display.

I have already moved in to my house and have no sofas until my Darlings sofas arrive in 6 weeks, what can I do?
No problem, we have a solution for you. We can hire you a sofa / sofa bed from around £130 for 5 weeks (including delivery and collection). This service is only available for London and surrounding counties however. We also have a silver and gold range. We will collect the hire sofas the day the new ones are delivered

How long will delivery take?
This is dependent on delivery destination, but you can expect to receive your order within 3-6 weeks (except our Italia Range). UK deliveries can often be delivered sooner.

Do you charge for delivery?
We only ask you to contribute £75 towards the delivery of your furniture by our 2 man delivery team, no matter how many items you buy. This is obviously heavily subsidised by Darlings of Chelsea and makes buying your furniture from us cheaper for you.

Do you deliver abroad?
Yes, we supply worldwide and delivery is charged at cost. Please call for a quote to deliver to your destination outside the UK.

Is it safe to buy from Darlings of Chelsea over the Internet?
All our payments are processed by Natwest Streamline and they process approximately 1 in 2 online transactions in the UK. The process is absolutely secure.

For the technically minded - the payment processing section of our site is protected by Verisign encryption, and your credit card details are further encrypted using the Data Encryption Standard (128 bit) before being processed by our order system.

Our secure-server software encrypts all your personal information including credit or debit card number and name and address.

Is your furniture guaranteed?
All Darlings of Chelsea products come with a 3 year manufacturers warranty with option to buy 5 years warranty.

When is my card charged?
Your card will be charged the full amount in order to process your order - unless buying in bulk where we take a 50% deposit (6 items or more).

Do you use genuine leather?
Absolutely, we do not use split or faux leather on any part of our sofas.

Do your prices include VAT?
Yes

Do you supply to trade?

Do you know where I can dump my old furniture?
We can take that away for you for a small charge - or why not donate it to charity? We work with a great charity called Mustard Tree.
