Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

14 Day no quibble returns

Choosing the right piece of furniture for your home can be difficult even in a showroom. Often a wrong choice only becomes evident when you see the item in your own home. It may be too big, or too small, the colour may be too loud, or too subdued. You may even wish you'd chosen a different colour. Whatever the reason, if you're not delighted with your choice, you have 14 days to let us know and we'll collect the item(s) and refund your money provided the goods are in exactly the same condition you received them in.. Below is our policies on returning goods to us.

Returns
Arrived Damaged or Faulty - If your goods arrived damaged or are faulty your first action is to inform us by email to returns@darlingsofchelsea.co.uk within 24 hours. Our Returns Department will then arrange the return of these goods and we will replace the goods at no charge.

Faulty Goods - If your purchase was originally fine but has become faulty quite soon afterwards, please email us in the first instance to returns@darlingsofchelsea.co.uk with a short description of the problem and we will email you back.

Non-Faulty Goods - Non-faulty goods must be returned within 14 days after receiving the product. In the first instance please contact us by email to returns@darlingsofchelsea.co.uk or phone within 24 hours. Our Returns Department will then contact you with the relevant procedure. Provided the goods are received in brand new, never been used condition and with the same packaging that they left our warehouse in, we will fully refund the price of the goods less delivery and collection costs (calculated at 15% of the purchase price). You will receive your refund within 30 days although usually much sooner.

We do not accept returns for non faulty goods if:

  • The furniture was personalised to your requirements
  • The furniture was shipped outside of the UK

Failed Delivery
If we are unable to get the furniture in to your home, we will take it away for you and refund you the money (minus 15% of your total purchase amount). Please make sure you are confident access is ok before ordering.

Refunds
Faulty Goods - All verified faulty goods will be fully refunded and we will also pay for the return postage. Please note that the verification process may mean we have to send the item back to the manufacturer. You will receive your refund within 30 days although usually much sooner.

Non-Faulty Goods - Non-faulty goods must be returned within 14 days as detailed above. Provided everything is in order we will fully refund the price of the goods less delivery and collection costs (calculated at 15% of the purchase price).

Cancellations
Provided the goods are received in brand new, never been used condition and with the same packaging that they left our warehouse in, we will fully refund the price of the goods less delivery and collection costs. You receive your refund within 30 days although usually much sooner.

As you probably already know, leather is a unique and natural material, therefore, the imperfections due to healed scars, barb wire knicks and other natural hallmarks are signs of genuine leather.
