At Darlings of Chelsea we stock a high-class selection of sophisticated wing chairs. Wing chairs - which are also known as wing back chairs - feature side panels (or wings) mounted on either side of the chair, providing comfortable support for your head.
That makes them the ideal chair for a quick afternoon nap - not that sleep is the intention behind the design. They are actually designed to keep out drafts and retain the warmth of a fire – hence why you’d normally find them pulled up close to a hearth in years gone by.
