Large Sofas
The stresses and strains of modern life make it absolutely essential to have a nice relaxing sofa waiting for you at home after a long day! Indeed, there can be few better feelings than kicking off your shoes once you get through the door and stretching out on a deep, large sofa.
All of which may just explain the increased popularity of large sofas – individual pieces capable of seating up to eight or more people.
At Darlings of Chelsea, the vast majority of our sofas are available as four or five seaters at the least. Most also come as six to eight seaters. However, as we are able to build custom sofas for our customers, we can actually build as large a sofa as you need!
Similarly, if you need a deeper sofa, we can accommodate those requirements too.
Of course, if you have a spacious living area, a large sofa is the ideal way to fill it. Not only does a large sofa allow you to stretch out to the max, but it also means your friends and family can share one seating area for the ultimate cosy night in.
Sofas have also become extremely stylish pieces of furniture in recent years, and large sofas (such as corner sofas) are now very much a focal point of the designer living space.
There are practical considerations to be made though – the primary one being access. Will you be able to get such a vast, large sofa into the property? Fortunately, we’re on hand to help…
We purposely design our large sofas in two pieces, only joining them together once they are in your home. We also have a number of sofa models with detachable armrests, which provides another helping hand when it comes to the logistics of taking delivery.
Again, once you’ve decided where to position your sofa within the house, we bolt on the arms there and then.
Some of the larger sofas in our range come in the form of corner sofas or modular sofas which are cleverly and uniquely built up from individual pieces. And if there’s an interior designer in you bursting to get out, you can even commission is to build a U-shaped sofa – an extremely stylish way to bring your family and friends together in relaxation.
