A number of our current leather beanbags and footstools are manufactured making use of prime leather and semi aniline leathers that you can select from, together with more traditional materials such as fabric.
This type of leather distresses naturally after some time, but being an oil based product it can help to absorb small scratches and provides a defense by forcing liquid spills to run on the surface rather than soaking through into the leather giving you the advantage of cleaning the spill before any permanent damage is done to your furniture.
Absolutely, we do not use split or faux leather on any part of our sofas. Some leathers in the italia range are available as split leathers.

Leather is a natural product and markings and colour variations do occur. This is considered part of the individuality and character of the sofa.
