It takes a few minutes to unfold and needs no tools, though the mechanism varies slightly by model. Most corner sofa beds UK customers choose have a pull-out design. You remove the seat and back cushions, use the pull tab or handle to draw out the hidden mattress until the frame is flat, then make it up with your own bedding. Some models use a clic-clac mechanism instead, where you simply click the back of the sofa down to flatten it.
Our luxury corner sofa bed models function as a premium sofa during the day and a proper bed at night. Our mattresses range from small double (125 x 180cm) to queen size (155 x 190cm), and you can choose the mattress type and firmness to suit how you sleep. Each sits on wooden slats, and most use apocket sprung mattress for proper support, so guests feel refreshed after spending the night.
It depends on your room. Look at where the walls, doors and radiators sit because in the corner the walls usually decide for you. Think about which side you want the longer section on, and make sure there is space to pull the bed out.
Measure both the sofa and the bed once it is fully extended, then add room to walk around it. Marking the opened footprint out on the floor with tape is the easiest way to check. If getting the sofa bed into the room is the worry, our sofa beds for tight access range is worth a look.
